This poetry book, "SONGS OF SEVEN", by Jean Ingelow, was published by Roberts Brothers Boston, 1866. It appears to be a first edition, only one copyright date, and I know that this poem was reprinted in several anthologies at later dates. It's in fairly good condition, with some minor age spots on some of the pages, but nothing too serious. There is gold leaf printing on both the front and back cover, which is still in very good condition. The book has gold edge pages, and is wonderfully illustrated, and has a red border line around the print and illustrations on each page. It is obvious that the book was published in this special way in order to embellish the poem. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone's poetry collection. 29 pages.
