MAP - AUSTRALASIA, MALAY ACHIPELAGO, AND MICRONESIA - This colored map that was printed in 1902 is in very good condition. The inserts in the top right corner shows the Hawaiian Islands; and the bottom left corner shows the Samoa Islands. At that time Australasia was comprised of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and New Zealand. The Malay Archipelago was comprised of Manila, Borneo, Celebes, New Guinea, and others. Micronesia comprised Guam, the Marshall Islands, Gilbert Islands, Ellice Islands, Fiji Islands, and others. The map denotes that certain countries or territories were colonies or under the control of England, Germany, or The United States. The map measures 8 1/2" x 10 1/2", and is matted to 14" x 18" for easy framing.
